ABOUT PAINT CHILL CO.
Paint Chill Co. has been running successful paint events in Portsmouth and the surrounding areas since 2019. Our events are hosted by a team of experienced local artists, all passionate about sharing their talent as they join you for an evening spent with friends in a relaxed atmosphere.
Our mission is to encourage and guide you through a fun art experience suited for all abilities – where you’re invited to paint, sip, and socialise, with plenty of laughs along the way.
Each of our paint events is held at a local bar or restaurant in Portsmouth and Southsea. As well as nearby locations including Fareham, Gosport, Portchester and Hayling Island. In addition to our public events, we also cater for private parties and provide corporate team-building activities along the South Coast.
We supply all the materials needed to create your very own 16″ x 20″ canvas painting. To take part, book your place online, arrive at the event, grab a drink (or two), and get ready to add some colour to your night!
By the end of the evening, you’ll be able to take home your finished artwork to proudly hang on the wall or give as a unique gift to someone special.

OUR TEAM
Rhian Higgins
Southsea-born, creator and cat lover, Rhian brings a unique blend of enthusiasm and a sense of community to everything she does.
With her teaching expertise and warm personality, Rhian will guide you through every brushstroke in a relaxed setting. Rhian’s passion for art shines through in every session, guiding even the most inexperienced of painters as they blossom into confident artists.
But that’s not all – Rhian is also a modern Calligraphy specialist, running her own company, @kindcalligraphy.
Jessamin Speed
With a background in painting, graphic design and event management, Jessamin has been creating art her entire life. Launching Paint Chill Co, Jessa has always believed everyone has an untapped artist waiting to be unleashed.
If you wish to host a private event, corporate function or a fun and alternative team-building session, then Jessa can help bring that extra special touch – along with her stunning artwork.
Kirstie Croute
Far more than just an artist, Kirstie is a beacon of warmth and creativity, ready to spread joy with her infectious enthusiasm for the arts.
Kirstie’s talents extend beyond the canvas. An illustrator, comedian, and teacher, she brings a unique blend of skills and perspectives to everything she touches.
Whether it’s laughing with friends or tending to her houseplants, Kirstie embodies the spirit of creativity and connection that defines the very essence of Paint Chill Co.
Mevis Cassey
Mevis comes from a background in Art and Design, as well as fashion and Textiles. At Paint Chill Co, Mevis finds joy in connecting like-minded souls and creating art together within a fun and relaxed environment.
Not only is Mevis the proud owner of several artistic ventures in Southsea (including @greenroomcreationsUK, @thewildatartclub, and @bloomedbotanics), but she is also a wonderful and loving mother to two beautiful children.
Introducing Ellie
With a passion for painting, Ellie brings fresh energy and creativity to every lesson. Helping others discover their artistic potential, while boosting their confidence along the way.
Coffee Enthusiast and cat lover, with a diverse array of work experience from hospitality to social media content creation.
When she’s not busy painting, you’ll find Ellie enjoying a cup of coffee and spending time with her beloved feline friends.
